The ARB Portable Fridge/Freezer is the most popular choice for off-road refrigeration, hands down. This is not your ordinary "cooler". This is a legitimate fridge that will get down to -18°C, regardless of ambient temperatures. This keeps your food (or beverages...) cool and fresh during your overland adventures. No ice melting and needing to be replaced every few days, making all your sandwiches soggy.
On our personal note, this is my wife's favourite "mod", allowing us to have milk, cheese, meats and yogurt without seeing civilization for weeks at a time. Not to mention those ice cold drinks during the summer.
