Return & Cancellation Policy

General Return Policy

We accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of purchase on orders shipped within Canada. Cancelled Orders and Product Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee (see details below). Any restocking fees are waived for exchanges.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

  • Final Sale Items: The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:
  • Special Order Items
  • International Orders (all sales outside of Canada are final)
  • Sale Items
  • Any products of the following types:
Gift Cards, First Aid Kits, Fuel, Perishable Goods, Sanitary Goods, Hazardous Materials, Flammable Liquids/Gases, and Books showing signs of use.

Exchanges

We only exchange items that are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, please email us at info@overlandoutfitters.ca before sending the item to the return address above.

Refunds & Processing

Once your return is inspected and approved, a refund will be processed to your original method of payment. Please allow several business days for your bank or credit card company to post the credit.

  • Partial Refunds: May be issued for items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts due to reasons not caused by our error, or for returns processed more than 30 days after delivery.
  • Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all cancelled or returned orders if the request is made after 48 hours from the time of purchase.
  • Late Refund: If you have not received your refund, first check your bank/credit card. If the issue persists, contact us at sales@overlandoutfitters.ca.
  • Return Address: Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. All returns must be mailed to: 110-18436 96 Ave, Surrey, BC V4N 3P8

Shipping Returns

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.
  • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your total.
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over $75, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen returned packages.

Cancellations & Deposits

  • All orders (excluding Four Wheel Camper Orders): Must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Cancelled orders are subject to a restocking fee (see details under “Refunds & Processing”).
  • Four Wheel Campers Orders: A 50% deposit is required to secure your order with the balance due upon delivery.

Price Policy

  • Price Protection: If the same item goes on sale within 7 days of your purchase, we will refund the balance to match the sale price. If it goes on sale between 7–30 days, we will offer the balance as a store credit. This excludes special holiday sales (e.g., Black Friday).
  • Price Match: We are a small Canadian business, but we always try our best to match or beat prices from other Canadian retailers. Please contact us to see what we can do.

Order Pick-Up & Storage

  • Order Arrival: We will notify you when your order arrives at our location. You have 30 days to pick it up or arrange shipping.
  • No Response/Late Pick-Up: If we do not hear back within 30 days, the item will be released for sale to other customers. Orders containing items left longer than 30 days will be voided without refund*.
*Not applicable to orders containing items that are scheduled for installation.

Vehicle Storage and Abandonment Policy

Storage Fee

If a customer is notified that their vehicle is ready for pickup and does not retrieve it within seven (7) calendar days of that notification, a storage fee of $60 per day will be charged. This fee is retroactive to the date the customer was first notified that the vehicle was ready and continues through the date of actual pickup.

Unclaimed Vehicles

If a vehicle remains unclaimed for more than ninety (90) days from the date of notification that it is ready for pickup, it will be considered abandoned. The company reserves the right to sell the vehicle to recover any outstanding balances, including repair costs, parts, labor, and storage fees.

Disposition of Sale Proceeds

Any proceeds from the sale of an unclaimed vehicle that exceed the total amount owed will be held for the original vehicle owner for an additional ninety (90) days. If the owner does not claim the excess funds within that period, those funds will be forfeited to the company.
