O2 Fabrication 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma High Clearance Front Skid Plate

We designed the O2 Fabrication High Clearance Front Skid Plate in-house at our Surrey, BC shop so you can avoid getting hung up on rocks. By not making space for a (pointless) differential drop, and trimming the factory jacking pad, we were able to tuck the plate tighter against the chassis than any other skid on the market. This skid plate reclaims approximately 1.25 inches of vital clearance over standard aftermarket options, while also increasing approach angle by 2.5" compared to the competition. This gives your rig the approach geometry of 35-inch tires while running 33s. Built to integrate seamlessly with the O2 Fabrication Flat Belly Kit, it delivers smooth, continuous protection from the radiator to the transfer case.

Pro Tip: Maximizing this much clearance means the factory front crossmember jacking pad needs to be cut off during installation, and you cannot run a diff drop. Don't sweat the jacking pad removal, this trail-tested 3/16” reinforced steel skid is more than strong enough to support the weight of your truck when you need to put a floor jack under the front end.
