If you are looking to add a secondary shock to your JD Fab long travel kit then these mounts are a must have! The shock hoops are constructed with a combination of 1.5" x 0.125" wall DOM tube and 0.125" plates. The hoops bolt to the top of the OE coil bucket and then weld to the side of the frame. The kit includes weld on frame plates and shock hoop gussets for added strength. We also include weld on reservoir tabs and shock mounting hardware.
The upper shock tabs have been widened to allow the fit of either a 2.5" or 3.0" shock. We include a 1/2" machined aluminum spacer that allows the shock to be positioned forward or back deepening on the shock size. This is done to clear the upper control arm as the suspension cycles. On both of our long travel kits the secondary shocks will clear the factory bump stop mount as well.
For both the 2.5 and 3.0 shocks there are specific bypass tube layouts and reservoir hose lengths required. We have all the different shock options that will fit listed under the secondary shocks section
