Freedom Recovery Gear's 3/8" “Light Link Double D” soft shackles are an excellent complement to any recovery gear kit. With a minimum of 22” inside length and MBS of 35.000lbs, Freedom Recovery Gear's soft shackles come in two length to match many recovery scenarios. They easily attach winch lines, strap, extensions and other rigging, providing a secure low mass connection. Soft shackles have an inherent flexibility and can be used where conventional steel shackles will not work, such as wrapping around a tube bumper or roll cage.

Freedom Recovery Gear “Light Link Double D” soft shackles are stronger than steel cable of the same diameter and light enough to float on water! Their Unique Design featuring “Double” Strand of Premium Dyneema® SK78 synthetic fiber is significantly stronger than other soft shackle designs which use a single buried strand.

Their Light Link soft shackle start with Premium Dyneema® SK78 synthetic fiber based rope manufactured in a Canadian ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility which maintains the highest quality standard. Every batch or rope is strength tested and verified before being hand tied and mechanically tensioned.

Each shackle designs is sent to a company that specializes in rigging certification and destructive testing on a certified digital test bed. This gives them real Minimum Break Strength or M.B.S. for their assemblies and not a theoretical calculation.
