The FOX 2.0 Performance Series Snap Ring IFP front shock is a direct-replacement upgrade engineered to eliminate shock fade while leveling out your truck's stance. By utilizing an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) to isolate the oil from high-pressure nitrogen, this shock delivers consistent damping control over harsh terrain while reusing your factory coil springs for a cost-effective suspension upgrade.

  • Adjustable Ride Height: Three predetermined snap-ring grooves provide choices of 0”, 1”, or 2” of front lift, allowing you to level out factory front-end rake and clear larger tires without altering your spring rate.
  • Fade-Resistant Aluminum Body: The 2.0-inch metal impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body dissipates heat significantly faster than standard steel shocks, keeping internal oil temperatures low during sustained off-road use.
  • Internal Floating Piston (IFP): Mechanically separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, eliminating fluid aeration to maintain predictable, consistent damping over rough terrain.
  • Application-Specific Valving: Precision-tuned at the factory specifically for the weight distribution and handling dynamics of the Tacoma platform to maximize both highway stability and trail compliance.

Pro Tip: If your 3rd Gen Tacoma has high mileage on the odometer, don't swap your worn-out factory springs onto these new dampers. Over time, stock coils sag and lose their original spring rate. To get the maximum performance benefit out of this suspension upgrade and avoid tearing down your front assembly twice, inspect your current coils closely or pair these shocks with fresh springs.
